Hunter Week 2: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

IMG_0806Good morning everyone! This week has been great! We got some good snowfall yesterday and last night. So it’s in the 30’s this morning. This past week has been pretty good. We started our Light the World campaign which has been a lot of fun especially now since we can share it via social media. We recently went downtown to see the Temple Square lights which was a lot of fun! We have a couple of planned trips this transfer that we will be going downtown to see the lights with the people we are working with! So, I’m looking forward to that! For our service this week in part of Light the World stuff we helped someone move out of their home and we trimmed the rose bushes out front of our house for the lady that we live with. So it’s been a lot of fun helping people the best we can.

We have recently dropped a few people in our area so the work is in a little bit of a slump right now, but with the people we are working with we are doing really well. We watched the Christmas Devotional as well last night with one of our stake presidents in the Hunter Stake. It was a lot of fun watching it with him and getting to know him. Afterwards, we had a really good discussion and had root beer floats. haha! The work is moving along and hopefully we should have some baptisms coming up this month. So, I’m excited for that. Other than that the work is doing good and I’m having a good time here in the Salt Lake Valley. I hope everyone else is having a good week! Remember to think of ways to do service for others as part of the Church’s Light The World initiative. I love all y’all, and I hope everyone has a great Christmas!
